2. BioMaH-Konferenz „Biomaterials and Novel Technologies for Healthcare“ in Frascati, Italien
Die zweite internationale Biennale Konferenz BioMaH: „Biomaterials and Novel Technologies for Healthcare“ fand vom 8. bis 11. Oktober 2018 in Frascati, Italien, statt. Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini war zusammen mit Dr. Mauro Alini (AO Stiftung, Schweiz) einer der Präsidenten der Konferenz, während Dr. Julietta Rau (CNR, Italien) die Vorsitzende der Konferenz war. Prof. Boccacccini leitete wissenschaftliche Sitzungen und präsentierte zwei mündliche Beiträge: „Doping bioactive glasses with biologically active ions for emerging tissue engineering applications“ und „Biofabrication with alginate Di-Aldehyde/Gelatine (ADA/GEL) hydrogels: Progress, Applications and Challenges“.
Unser Institut war auch mit Frau Vera Bednarzig (Doktorandin) und Herrn Lukas Gritsch (Doktorand) vertreten, die folgende Vorträge hielten: „3D Bioplotting of the recovery of cranial bone defects on the basis of titanium and hydrogel composites“ und „New ways to fight bacteria: towards the application of therapeutic ion release and polyester based biomaterials for antibiotic-free antibacterial devices“.
Auf den Fotos sind Prof. Boccaccini mit Dr. M. Alini, Dr. J. Rau und den eingeladenen Referenten Prof. M. Vallet-Regi, Prof. F. Rustichelli, Prof. L. Ambrosio, Prof. P. Netti, Prof N. Tirelli, Dr. A. Tampieri, Dr. M. Montazerian zu sehen.
Die dritte BioMaH-Konferenz ist für 2020 in einer Stadt in Italien geplant.
